Dr. Hamer’s dream was to establish a university in Sandefjord, Norway, dedicated to teaching GNM. He wanted to call it the “University of Sandefjord.”
Located just a 90-minute train ride south of Oslo, with its scenic shoreline and serene atmosphere, Sandefjord would have been the perfect setting.
It was his intention to teach courses at various levels so everyone, regardless of background or medical philosophy, could benefit from this knowledge.
Health care professionals from all around the world could have come to Sandefjord to learn directly under Dr. Hamer and his associates. GNM practitioners would then spread GNM to every corner of the globe.
This would allow millions of people suffering needlessly from health conditions to get the help they need.
Sadly, the powers that be prevented this dream. Dr. Hamer passed away on July 2, 2017, without seeing his university open.
Yet his vision lives on.
It is my mission to keep the spirit of GNM alive.
This is why I founded the GNM Institute for Education and Research.
The GNM Institute for Education and Research is the only authorized body carrying forward the curriculum exactly as Dr. Hamer intended.
Our mission is to make GNM the standard for health care worldwide by providing practitioners with the tools to address the psychological root causes of illness.
About The GNM Institute for Education and Research
The GNM Institute for Education and Research is dedicated to preserving Dr. Hamer’s work and furthering Germanic New Medicine research.
Since I established my courses in 1996, I have trained hundreds of GNM practitioners.
They’re applying Dr. Hamer’s teachings to patients around the world, both in-person at their clinics and via online video consultations.
They’re able to give their clients the help they need to resolve their conflicts and tracks which are keeping their symptoms alive. So nature can run its course, and they can get the best outcomes.

A Word of Warning
Since Dr. Hamer’s passing, several opportunists have appeared claiming to teach his work. Unfortunately, Dr. Hamer is no longer here to stop them.
This means there are several self-proclaimed GNM teachers out there offering courses on GNM who are not properly trained in Dr. Hamer’s teachings.
I am the only living GNM practitioner associated with Dr. Hamer who learned directly from him and is authorized to teach his curriculum.

Meet Your Mentor: Ilsedora Laker
My name is Ilsedora Laker, the Dean and Director of the GNM Institute.
I’m internationally recognized as the leading GNM instructor and trainer.
However, I was a health care professional, probably like you are now.
I started my career in alternative health care in Toronto, treating clients with everything from Traditional Chinese Medicine to spiritual healing.
Yet everything changed when I discovered GNM.
It opened my eyes to the true cause of illness and disease. I rigorously tested Dr. Hamer’s findings for myself through CT scans and by applying them to my personal health history.
I then had the unique privilege of learning directly from Dr. Hamer. My training involved in-person study, phone correspondence, and clinically observing him applying his methods to his patients.
On one occasion, I traveled to Spain, where I spent a week by his side observing him interacting with patients suffering from various illnesses.
After graduation from his training, I would often consult with him about my patients to ensure my diagnoses were accurate.
It was an honour to learn directly from the man who discovered the biological laws that changed the face of medicine.
He was always generous with his time, and his willingness to share his most recent findings and observations was deeply appreciated.
He was a giant not only in physical stature but also in his chosen field.
History will one day see him as the greatest physician that ever lived.
As the only living GNM teacher who learned directly under Dr. Hamer, it’s my honor and privilege to continue his work.
This is why I set up The GNM Institute for Education and Research.
The curriculum of The GNM Institute for Education and Research is based on how Dr. Hamer’s original “University of Sandefjord” would have been established.

The GNM Intermediate Course for Health Care Professionals (HCP)
This course is the starting point for everyone, regardless of background or education, who wants to pursue a career in Germanic New Medicine or to incorporate this new understanding of the disease process into their existing practice.
This diploma program will provide all the necessary information on the GNM for anyone interested in pursuing a career as a health care professional, regardless of background or education.
This training is foundational for medical professionals like family physicians, naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, homeopaths, osteopaths, massage therapists and more.
It is a mandatory prerequisite for anyone seeking to practice GNM with patients.
Non-medical professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of the GNM may also attend the courses in this program.
The courses of the GNM Institute are organized in such a way that an individual with no medical knowledge can, with some determination and added prerequisite courses, enter into the GNM Clinician Certification Program.
Attention to detail and high moral standards create a work ethic critical for those seeking to expand their horizons to include this field of study.
You will gain a new level of understanding of disease processes, such as common ailments, chronic conditions, and serious illnesses.
You will be able to identify the psychological root cause of your clients’ illnesses, allowing their bodies’ natural healing mechanisms to heal them.
The GNM Intermediate Course for Health Care Professionals shows you how the different types of diseases are caused and how to resolve them.
You will also be shown case histories of clients to further your understanding.

Course Modules: In-Depth Learning
The course is made of 3 core modules, with 36 hours of instruction, which provide immediate insights for using the GNM in your everyday life.
This vast body of knowledge is broken down into bite-sized, easy-to-understand pieces while maintaining the absolute integrity of Dr. Hamer’s work.
Videos range from 15 minutes to 4 hours. Access is provided for 1 full year via our secure e-learning portal and mobile app.

Module 1: Foundational Principles
Module 1 contains 19 videos which lay the groundwork for you to develop a correct, accurate understanding of the basics of the GNM.

You’ll discover how human evolution governs disease processes and how biological programs develop from life experiences.

Module 2 has 7 training videos which explore and explain the roles of bacteria, fungi, and so-called viruses and how they aid the body’s healing process.
You’ll acquire a deep understanding of how these organisms aid the healing process, giving you the insight needed to guide your patients to better outcomes.
Module 3: Advanced Cerebral & Heart Insights
They will deepen your knowledge of the cerebrum, hearing conflicts, and the invaluable GNM awareness regarding heart disease.
Module 3 is made up of 5 training videos which equip you with a well-rounded foundation to begin working with GNM.
Each lesson builds on the ones before it; therefore, there is no skipping ahead. You must watch them in the sequence and order specified.

Accreditation & Certification
The GNM for Health Care Professionals is the core curriculum for the GNM Intermediate Level Diploma.
At the end of the course, you may take the GNM Intermediate Level Diploma Exam.
Passing this examination is a prerequisite to enrolling in the advanced-level courses to become a certified GNM Clinician.
Everyone who purchases and studies the GNM for Health Care Professionals is welcome to take the GNM Intermediate Level Diploma Exam.
However, to be awarded the Intermediate Level Diploma, you must have a background in Anatomy and Physiology, as well as successfully pass the required examinations.
If you don’t have a background in Anatomy and Physiology, we can refer you to an approved “external course” in Anatomy and Physiology which you can take.
When you are finished with the Anatomy and Physiology training, you may sit for this exam with us when you are ready.

To earn the GNM Intermediate Level Diploma, students must meet rigorous standards to ensure the safety of the public and the integrity of the work.
Scope of Practice: Students are NOT permitted to offer GNM services until fully qualified by the Institute. You must stay within your existing professional scope (e.g., practicing as a Chiropractor, not a GNM practitioner) until certified.

Who is this course for?

Can I watch the videos more than once?
Yes, you can watch the videos as often as you wish within your 1-year access period. You can replay any section once a module is marked as done.
Is there a set timeframe to complete the program?
No, you work at your own pace. However, we do not expect students to complete the final exam in less than 6 months to ensure proper digestion of the material.
What support is available?
The GNM team is available via email at registration@gnminstitute.com from 09:00-17:00 EST, Monday through Friday.
Can I download the videos for offline viewing?
No. For security and confidentiality reasons, videos must be streamed via the portal or accessed through the official GNM Institute app.
What happens if I fail the exam?
One retake is allowed after 14 days for a $200 fee. If a second attempt is unsuccessful, an interview will be conducted to discuss your next steps.
